CodexMonitor

CodexMonitor is an open-source desktop application built with Tauri that orchestrates multiple Codex agents across local workspaces. It serves as a management layer for the Codex app-server protocol, providing a structured interface for developers to interact with AI coding agents without relying solely on a command line. The software is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The application focuses on workspace organization and thread management. It allows users to spawn individual server instances per project, track agent activity via a home dashboard, and maintain isolated worktrees for different tasks. It also includes a remote backend mode, enabling the software to connect to a Codex instance running on a separate machine via TCP or Tailscale.
