Pluton

Pluton is an open-source, self-hosted web app and server that manages automated incremental backups. It provides a centralized web interface to coordinate data protection across various storage destinations, allowing users to maintain full control over their backup infrastructure and avoid vendor lock-in. The platform is designed to simplify the process of securing data by wrapping complex command line tools in a graphical user interface.

The software is deployed as a server application and can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux desktops, as well as headless Linux servers. For users preferring containerized environments, it is available as a Docker image and can be deployed using a Docker Compose configuration.
